Snorkel with Seals & Popes Eye Marine Sanctuary
Our 2 Hour Snorkel Tour starts at Popes Eye Marine Sanctuary. Popes Eye is a quick 5 min from Portsea and boasts a large variety of unique temperate marine fish, cuttlefish, sea stars and rays amongst sea sponge and kelp. Popes Eye was originally intended to be built as a fortress out of Blue Stone to protect the bay, however, it was never completed and has since been turned into part of the Marine National Park and Australasian Gannet nesting area.

After Popes Eye, we head to the famous Chinamans Hat. Just 10 Minutes away, Chinamans Hat is a large platform structure in the bay and home to our resident friendly Fur Seals. We give you an opportunity to get up close and personal with the playful seals, and swim with the seals too! To book on, just select our Popes Eye or Popes Eye and Seals trips on our booking page.
